If you are the face of your business, how you show up will impact your business success. The energy you put out is the type of energy you will get back and it all comes down to – VIBES!

What do we mean by vibes?

Vibes is short for – VIBRATIONS.

A vibration in essence is a state of being, the atmosphere, or the energetic quality of a person, place, thought, or thing.

As people, we tend to have this intuitive ability to tell a person’s energy when they walk into a room. Which is another reason why first impressions matter.

You might have heard the slang term “good vibes” thrown about which typically means the positive feelings given off by a person, place, or situation.

If you can create positiveness inside you, you’ll be able to create positive emotions and vibrations which will be picked up by those around you and you will create a similar emotion or thought inside of them.

Why are vibes important for business success?

It is important to consider what can expect when you raise your vibe and generate positive energy in yourself and those around you.

People tend to remember how you make them feel, far more than they remember what you say or do. If you can create a positive experience for them when you interact and create positive emotions, they will not forget you. Even more so they will want to continually come back for a dose of those positive vibes.

You want to introduce practices and habits into your life that will allow you to be the best version of yourself so that you can show up there for the people, the customers, and audiences as well as for your business and yourself.

Everyone has their ups and downs in life. Some have more ups and others more downs, and everyone has a different tolerance to problems and perceptions of how big or small the problems are.

But no matter who you are, there is always something to be grateful for.

Practicing gratitude allows you to shift negative perceptions into more positive ones. It builds up a glass-half-full type of mentality. Initially, gratitude needs a little mental effort, but as you practice it, it will become second nature.

It will help you overcome difficulties with more ease and help you keep your positive vibe up.

Positive mindset

As with gratitude, a positive mindset also requires some conscious effort. It does not mean faking being happy when you are not or having to hide how you are truly feeling.

That’s not healthy – that’s toxic positivity.

Having a positive mindset is simply the act of remembering that despite the fact that things are not as you would like them to be right now, you have the tools and strength with you to get through them. It is remembering that no challenges last forever and those good things will come your way.

This simple practice, especially in business will help you show up even on the bad days and still inspire and make an impact.

Mindfulness is a useful practice because it allows you to spend the majority of your time in the present. It allows you not to dwell on the past, and not to get paralyzed by the thought of the future. Both those things can stop you from moving forward and can disrupt your inner peace.

Journaling is a fantastic little habit that you can introduce to your daily routine. There are many practices that are overhyped. But journaling is definitely not one of them

It is a useful practice that allows you to offload and process your emotions. You know that feeling when you are bottling something up and you can finally share it with somebody? How much better do you feel? The problem does not disappear but getting it off your chest helps. Sometimes it helps you process it and figure out a solution.

Journalling mimics this in a way, minus the human contact. But the benefit is that you can do it anywhere and anytime.

Processing your emotions is a healthy way to move past things and help to elevate your mood.

Alignment

Staying aligned with your truest self is vital to keep up your positive energy and raise your vibe.

When you are aligned it means your goals, your character, your life, your direction, and everything else that matches your core desires and your core values.

You are on the path that you want to be on and heading in the direction that matches your dreams.

The reason this is important is because any misalignment can massively deplete your energy. You will not be able to show up with the same enthusiasm and passion if you’re not in alignment and this could hurt your business.

You will struggle to put in the same love and work into all the areas of your business and customers or audiences will pick up on it. Even more so when you are the brand or the face of the business.

Visualization

Visualization is the practice of affecting the outside world by changing your thoughts. By creating an inward reality of what you want, over and over aging, your behaviors will slowly change in a way that will get you closer to the reality you have imagined for yourself.

But even the simple act of daydreaming can bring hope for the future that could unfold for you. This will create a sense of motivation and joy within you and empower you to show up for your business.

Nutritious foods

Rising your vibe and having positive energy really start from within. The food you eat can massively impact your energy levels. You may well know after eating junk food, how sluggish you feel.

Choosing to eat a well-balanced and nutritious diet will help you raise your energy levels and raise your mood.

Movement

Getting some movement in during the day can elevate your mood almost instantly. It does not have to be complicated or a hardcore workout unless that is your vibe. It could be as simple as going for a walk, doing some stretches, doing some yoga, or whatever feel good for you.

Either way, it will help get those endorphins flowing through to lift your mood and help you to de-stress.

Moving your body in the morning can be a fantastic way to set you up for a positive day ahead and keep those vibes going strong.

Nature

For those of you living in the city, it can be easy to forget the amazing benefits that spending time in nature can bring.

Spending time in nature help to take you out of the hustle of city life. There is a sense of calmness and serenity that nature brings that can snap you out of the busy everyday world and help you escape for a while. It can be extremely re-energizing.

It does not have to be complicated either, something as simple as spending a bit of time in your local park can be enough.

Acts of generosity and kindness should be altruistic. But there is no denying that doing small acts of kindness and making small positive impacts on someone’s life, feels good!

You should never do anything for others at the expense of yourself because that will do the opposite than rise your vibe. But doing something nice for someone, as simple as paying them a compliment, can truly shift their day. And knowing that you have made a positive change will absolutely shift yours.

Share your positive vibes with others and those positive vibes will come back to you three-fold.

Saying no

Give yourself the permission to set boundaries anywhere you need to. If there is something in your life costing you your energy or your peace, it might be time to put a break on it or limit its access to your life.

Saying no is not always easy but neither is spending time with someone or doing something which will leave you feeling worse off. Life is too short for that.

So set the boundaries and protect your energy so that you can show up as your best most energetically aligned self.

Choose your circle wisely

I know people say that “your vibe attracts your tribe” but I actually think the opposite is true too, because “your tribe attracts your vibe”.

So if you want to elevate your energy and rise your vibe and be more positive, get in a room with people who are like that. Choose to surround yourself with people who expand you energetically and push you to be the best version of yourself.

Energy is extremely contagious. If you are around it, you will absorb it.

Disconnect

The hustle culture, productivity, 24/7 life, social media, news, alerts, notifications, email…all these things can make it almost impossible to switch off.

Evolution could have never predicted how advanced we would become as species and how quickly, so our brains are in no way designed to be so stimulated all the time. And it can be exhausting and have a negative impact on us. It is a pandemic that no one is talking about enough.

So, if you want to reset and maintain your vibes and keep them going strong make the conscious effort to take a break and disconnect from the world from time to time.

It could be during a weekend, or even just setting limits throughout the day. But spend some quiet time where you put technology away and are not stimulated and distracted by continuous updates.

Calming morning routine

Start your day off the right way by introducing rituals that make you feel good, that bring calmness, and energize you. It will differ from person to person what those rituals are, but everyone has their something.

It does not have to be grand either, just something small that will take momentarily help you escape the morning rush around.

This is so vital because the way you start your day can truly impact how the rest of your day unfolds.

Just as with a strong morning routine, your evening routine also matters.

Having a winddown routine can help you step away from the hustle and stress of the day and help you relax and reset.

An evening routine is also vital to help your mind and body prepare for the best possible sleep so you can be the best you can be the next day : ).

Declutter

This could be a very personal preference, but I am definitely a no-clutter kind of gal.

Your environment impacts you. If you have a lot of clutter and everything is disorganized, it could clutter your mind, make it difficult for you to relax, and make it impossible to concentrate on anything. Not to mention the number of times you’ll be stressing and wasting time looking for something.

A calm and clean environment can bring that sense of ease and calm to you.

Most importantly, whatever your clutter tolerance is, make sure that the environment you spend time in is an energetic match. Make sure you feel good in it and it will raise your vibe.

Me time

Prioritize yourself as often as you need so that you can continually show up as your most energetic self.

Spend some time alone whenever you feel you need to and never apapologize for needing some me time. Make it your sacred time, which is an absolute necessity for you to be able to be at your best. If anyone has a problem with it or tries to interfere, make sure they know they are doing it at their own risk.
